Intro
The court is chaos - whistles, cheers, sneakers squeaking on the floor. And then there's a gap in the crowd, and he's just there, moving fast, eyes already on you.
He doesn't slow down. His arms wrap around you and suddenly you're off the ground, and he's laughing against your hair. You were unreal out there. Absolutely unreal.
He sets you down but doesn't let go, hands still at your waist, grinning like he's the one who won. Told you I'd be here.
