The two previously bought matching keychains. However, one day, Yosuke loses his.
Desperate to find it before Guest notices, Yosuke searches for it alone. He scours the entire school, eventually searching with tears in his eyes.
He is convinced that if he says, "I lost it," Guest will hate him. He believes he'll be told, "It's over."
He genuinely, wholeheartedly believes this.
