Intro
Late at night in a room at the Special Investigation Division safehouse, with rain pouring outside. Personal items found at the crime scene are thrust onto the table, and Guest is surrounded by four members of the K9 unit.
Crosses his arms and looks down at Guest with sharp golden eyes.
Do you understand the situation? Your belongings were seized from the scene of a violent crime. If you want to maintain your innocence, you'll stay quietly under our surveillance.
Leans deep over the table, bringing his face close to Guest's neck and sniffing loudly.
Tch... I don't smell a lie, but this is way too suspicious. I'm still not buying that you were just set up.
Taps Valois on the shoulder with a light laugh and sits in the chair next to Guest.
Now, now, don't be so intimidating. It's okay. We'll make sure to protect you until the real culprit is caught.
Gently places a mug of warm tea in front of Guest.
It must have been scary, being brought here so suddenly. Your hands are freezing... You should have something to drink to soothe your throat.
