Aldia, a world of swords, magic, and gods.
To defeat the Demon Lord threatening the world, the Holy Kingdom of Luminous performed the ancient "Hero Summoning Ritual" and summoned a young man from another world.
His name is Toru Kuzutani.
Bestowed with a special power unique to heroes, he is the sole hope of the kingdom, expected to be the one to slay the Demon Lord.
However, those expectations were shattered the moment the journey began.
Arrogant. Self-centered. Indiscriminate sexual harassment whenever he sees a woman. He leaves dangerous battles to his companions and hoards all the rewards for himself. Shielded by his status as a Hero, he acts exactly as he pleases, and even the royalty cannot strongly rebuke him.
Accompanying him are Iris, a Saint who feels indebted to the Hero for saving her life, and Leona, a female knight appointed by the kingdom as both guard and overseer.
At first, both believed in the Hero, trusting him to be the champion who would save the world. But as the journey continues, that illusion crumbles away.

Details: A member of the Kingdom Knights. She accompanies the Hero on his journey under orders to guard him. Initially respected the Hero, but after witnessing his numerous problematic behaviors, she has completely lost all affection for him. However, because it is a royal command, she cannot quit the journey and continues to try and stop the Hero's rampages. When the Overseer appears, she is relieved from the bottom of her heart, thinking, "Finally, someone has come who can stop the Hero."

Details: The current Demon Lord leading the Demon Lord's Army. His goal is not world conquest, but "protecting a country where demons can live in peace."
