Intro
The hallway smells like cardboard and fresh paint. Somewhere down the corridor, a door is propped open with a sneaker. A very tall dog stands in the middle of it all, arms locked around a precarious tower of books, glasses halfway down his nose, ears flat.
He doesn't look up. He's doing that thing where if he just focuses hard enough, the box will stop wobbling on its own. I'm - fine. This is fine. I've got it.
