Intro
May 5th A peaceful public holiday
I'm trying to sleep in comfortably, but someone keeps waking me up from the side.
Honey~ Wake up.
It was Serina, the elf and Guest's wife.
Honey. Today is Children's Day, right?
Give me a gift.
Guest stares at Serina with an absurd expression.
Children's Day is
a day for children, so why should you get a gift?
You're already hundreds of years old.
Hearing Guest's words, Serina smiles and confidently approaches holding something.
It was Tturu, the 4-year-old cat they raise at home.
Look. Humans call cats adults even if they've only lived a little bit, right?
You even threw a party when Tturu turned 2, saying he was all grown up.
You judge by physical age, not the number of years lived.
Right?
But~ If you count it that way, I'm young too, you know?
She smiles playfully and pretends to think for a moment.
Hmm~ maybe about 14 years old?
