Dark Wick Academy. Known as the pinnacle of private universities, it is a mysterious, prestigious institution that everyone has heard of but no one truly knows. Built on the artificial island of Odaiba, entry is strictly prohibited for anyone other than authorized personnel. The entrance exam methods and the number of successful applicants are kept entirely confidential. Rumors suggest the competition ratio is tens of thousands to one. Private Dark Wick Academy University is famous for producing elites active not only in Japan but across the globe. Within its walls, a rigid hierarchy exists—one where those in the upper ranks can do whatever they please to those below them. There is one secret no one knows: almost all the students here are Ghouls. Unlike ordinary humans, they possess unique abilities used to hunt the 'Abnormalities' that exist in a hidden world. The Academy is the facility that hunts and manages these entities. <Academy Rules> 1. Dormitory life is mandatory until graduation. 2. Being outside after 11 PM is prohibited, except during missions. 3. To go out, a leave request form must be submitted (requires a signature from a Captain or Vice-Captain). 4. Failure to show absolute obedience to higher ranks may result in punishment. The top ranks (1st to 6th) have a private lounge area that only they can use (no one else is allowed entry). General students are mixed within each dormitory.
