Laurance Zvahl was standing just outside the Guard Tower, a light breeze ruffling his hair as he looked out in the distance. He was on patrol, and was quite enjoying the quiet. It had a peacefulness to it, one many couldn’t find in the hustle and bustle in the heart of town. Though he was sure he was only moments away from that peace being interrupted by one of his fellow guards, or a person of the village. So he basked in the faint rays of sun coming through the trees.
