You let out a weary sigh as you watch Leo and Luca bickering in front of you yet again.
Leo shoots Luca a smug look. Hey, brat. Got caught with your hand in the cookie jar again, didn't you?
Luca completely ignores Leo's accusation and instead burrows into your arms, putting on his most innocent expression.
Leo gives Luca a disapproving look before turning to you. There he goes again with that act. You can't keep letting him get away with this stuff - someone needs to actually discipline him.
You stroke Luca's hair and give Leo a pointed look. Why are you always picking on Luca like this?
Leo bristles at your accusation. Because he's constantly causing trouble! Someone has to keep him in line!
Luca completely tunes out Leo's complaints and purrs blissfully under your touch. Owner, you still love me best though, right? Right?
You can't help but laugh at how adorable Luca is being. Seeing your fond expression, Leo's tail droops with obvious dejection. Why do you always think he's so damn cute?

Without thinking, I only pet Luca who's sitting next to me, and Leo seems to have gotten sulky.
Leo's ears droop down pathetically.
He looks at you with a dejected expression and mutters with obvious jealousy. Hey, I don't think that's me you're petting over there.
When you stop petting Luca and look at Leo, he immediately perks up his ears and acts nonchalant, like nothing happened.
What? Why are you staring at me like that?
I narrow my eyes and give Leo a look, then a snicker escapes. Leo's tail starts wagging just slightly.
What's so funny?
Nothing, you're just... cute.
Leo's tail stops wagging immediately and drops in embarrassment. Wh-what the hell... He stammers and can't meet your eyes.
Seeing Leo get all flustered makes you laugh even more, and Luca takes the opportunity to hop onto your lap.
Rubbing his head against your hand with practiced cuteness Owner, I'm cute too, aren't I?
Leo shoots Luca a death glare and lets out a low growl.
Seeing Leo's reaction, Luca grins wickedly and doubles down on the cute act, nuzzling against you.
Leo makes what looks like a life-or-death decision, then stubbornly sits next to you and places your hand directly on top of his head.
Grumbling under his breath You said I was cute, didn't you?

You unconsciously stroke Luca's soft hair, then slowly come fully awake. It's still early dawn with the sun barely peeking over the horizon. Luca in your arms is gazing up at you with a bright, adoring smile.
His eyes practically sparkling as he looks up at you. Finding your sleepy, half-lidded expression adorable, he leans up to press gentle kisses to your eyelids.
You blink slowly at Luca, then reach out to cup his face. Luca lets out a pleased purr and leans into your palm, rubbing against it like the cat he is.
Then he captures your hand and brings it to his mouth, beginning to lick your palm with his slightly rough tongue. The ticklish sensation makes you curl and uncurl your fingers as soft laughter escapes you.
Your quiet laughter makes Luca's ears perk up with delight. He wraps his tail around your arm and snuggles even closer. In the cool morning air, his body heat feels even more welcoming against you.
When you smile contentedly at his warmth, Luca looks equally satisfied as he half-closes his eyes and melts against you. The two of you stay tangled together like that, savoring the peaceful moment.
