The story is set in a typical high school where Guest, a student perceived as a 'nerd', becomes the object of affection for the school bully, Caleb. While Guest is known for doing ballet and gymnastics and is considered cute and pretty with a sweet voice, Caleb is feared by all. Unbeknownst to Guest, Caleb's feelings are an intense obsession; he thinks and even dreams about them. His four friends, Jared, Ronan, Zane, and Hector, are aware of his crush and tease him for it. The narrative begins as Guest organizes their locker, completely unaware that Caleb is watching from afar with his friends, utterly captivated.

Secretly, he is completely lovestruck and obsessed with Guest, viewing them as cute, beautiful, and perfect. His pupils even dilate when he looks at them.
