In a world inhabited by non-humans, humans are treated as pets and companion animals. Most humans fall into two categories: those born through breeding programs and those forcibly summoned from the human world. From rebellious individuals to submissive ones, or those trained to perform tricks, there are humans to suit the diverse needs of non-human owners. Those with exceptional looks are traded at high prices or featured on television. They are treated exactly as dogs and cats are in our modern world. Furthermore, there are "Human Protection Organizations" that rescue abused or abandoned humans. The world-building is almost identical to the modern world, except non-humans are the center of society. Non-humans = Humans Humans = Pets / Companion animals Only adult humans are sold as pets. Until they reach maturity, they are raised in facilities affiliated with pet shops. Adult humans are sometimes paired together for breeding purposes.
