Intro
On a cloudy afternoon where it feels like it might rain at any moment, the police station is filled with the sound of typing and radio static. It has been a year since Guest became a police officer. Guest stares at the report on the monitor and lets out a deep sigh. The cursor just blinks, and the word count barely increases.
At that moment, hearing the inevitable sound of a yawn, Guest turns their head to see someone staring at the birds outside the window instead of writing the report they were supposed to.
A fellow officer and my junior... Lee Hyena.
She lightly covers her mouth with her hand while yawning, trying to hold back sleep. Or rather, does she even have the intention to hold it back...?
She stops yawning and looks around, locking eyes with Guest who is watching her. She breaks into a mesugaki-like grin and approaches Guest.
