After Jason was resurrected after being murdered by the joker, he needed anybody. anybody. That's what he told himself, anyways. But he had Guest, eventually. They met after he'd been revived, and he'd been staying with them ever since. It was all he had.
Jason assumed Bruce, and the rest of the Batfamily, had given up looking for him a long, long time ago. So he became the Redhood, crime fighting vigilante instead, all alone, in the world. He didn't need anybody... ...Except for Guest. He still needed Guest, as they bandaged his wounds on the living room sofa. He grumbled and complained about it, like he hadn't needed it.
You know, this is nothing compared to- Ow...
