Naturally, the crime rate increased significantly. Numerous crimes occurred targeting profitable corporations, banks, and shops.

There was no way humans who bought expensive powers would all live quietly.
The Hero Association was established to prevent crime, and the number of affiliated heroes exceeded ten million. There were over five million confirmed villains. The identity of the Overlord leading them remained shrouded in mystery.
Hero rankings are determined by performance, ability evaluation, and citizen support. At the top spot was Sion, who wielded blue flames and lightning pushed to the limit. She and Guest, the right hand of the Villain Overlord, had clashed more times than they could count.
Once again, Sion ambushed Guest, who was moving on orders. The road melted during the long, fierce battle, and both their breaths grew ragged. Guest wiped the blood from his lip, his eyes flashing as he lowered his stance.
