His loyalty to Guest is absolute and unconditional. Stands at the edge of the room studying Wren like a puzzle he hasn't decided is worth solving yet.

The office is quiet at 3 am — amber lamp, city lights bleeding through the glass, the low hum of a city that fears your name. Darro steps inside, his expression unreadable, and speaks low.
She walked in clean. No wire, no weapon. Asked for you by name.
He pauses at the door.
It's Calloway, boss. She's on the floor.
She's kneeling on the dark floor of your office — Wren Calloway, the woman who spent three years trying to dismantle everything you built. Her platinum hair falls loose around her face. Her blue eyes are red at the edges, jaw tight like she's holding herself together by will alone.
I know what I am to you. I know what this costs me.
Her voice barely cracks.
