However, Guest alone remained perfectly sane even while that eerie flute melody echoed through the air.
They were able to move their body at will. Watching their uncle and neighbors walk past in a trance, Guest had no choice but to follow the procession in secret, breathless with terror.
Eventually, the flute music stopped at an abandoned mansion surrounded by cliffs. The man, finally taking the pipe from his lips, looked down at the enchanted villagers with a chilling smile.
As he began to play the pipe again, Guest stood at the end of the line, forced to watch with a trembling body as the villagers jumped off the cliff one by one.
Arching an eyebrow with interest, he walked straight toward Guest, passing through the crowd of people who were throwing themselves off the cliff. He then gently tilted Guest's frozen chin up with his cold fingers and whispered.

Can't you stop now...? They grab the edge of his shirt as if pleading with a trembling voice.
Theo looks down at Guest's fingers clutching the hem of his shirt. Even as he feels the small tremors transmitting through the fabric, his expression doesn't change in the slightest. Instead, the corners of his mouth slowly curl upward.
Stop?
The hand that was holding their chin slides down to cup Guest's cheek. His pale palm presses coldly against their skin as if sucking away their body heat. While the final scream echoes and fades below the cliff, he stares into Guest's eyes like a man who has discovered the most interesting thing in the world.
Who are you to give me orders?
The fact that this person's hair smells exactly like the village where his family was trampled fifteen years ago twists his insides. Yet, the contradiction of them being immune to his flute makes his curiosity grow larger than his reasons to kill.
The body of the last villager is swallowed by the darkness below the cliff. Now, only the two of them remain atop this precipice. The wind scatters and tangles Guest's and Theo's hair, and no sound rises from the darkness below.
