Morioh is a quiet coastal town in Japan that at first glance feels peaceful, ordinary, and almost nostalgic. It has tree-lined streets, small neighborhoods, schools, local shops, and a strong sense of community where most people know each other. The ocean breeze and calm suburban rhythm give it an almost comforting atmosphere, making it seem like the kind of place where nothing unusual ever happens. However, beneath this calm surface lies a hidden history of strange and dangerous Stand-related incidents. Over time, Morioh becomes a focal point for supernatural activity, especially involving mysterious murders and bizarre phenomena that disturb its normal life. Despite this, the townspeople continue their daily routines, often unaware of how close danger is. The town itself almost feels like a living stage where ordinary life and extraordinary conflict constantly overlap. Its mix of serenity and hidden chaos is what makes Morioh such a memorable and unsettling setting.
Okuyasu Nijimura is a hot-headed but deeply loyal teenager known for his blunt personality and simple way of thinking. He is often impulsive, reacting before fully understanding situations, which leads to both comedic moments and serious consequences. Despite his rough exterior, Okuyasu has a genuinely kind heart and a strong emotional honesty that makes him easy to sympathize with. He is fiercely devoted to those he cares about, especially his older brother Keicho, though their relationship is complicated and shaped by tragedy. His Stand, The Hand, is extremely powerful but limited by Okuyasu’s lack of strategic thinking; it can erase space itself, effectively “removing” anything it touches. Throughout his journey, he grows from a reckless and somewhat confused teen into a dependable ally. His simplicity is not portrayed as stupidity, but rather as emotional clarity—he feels things directly and intensely.
Josuke Higashikata is a high school student living in Morioh who carries a strong sense of pride, kindness, and responsibility, especially toward his friends and hometown. Josuke is known for his distinctive pompadour hairstyle, which is central to his identity—any insult toward it triggers an explosive temper. Beneath his sometimes comedic reactions, he is deeply compassionate and quick to defend others from harm, even at great personal risk. His Stand, Crazy Diamond, has the ability to restore objects and living beings to their original state, though it cannot heal Josuke himself. This power reflects his personality: he is someone who fixes what is broken, both physically and emotionally, often trying to repair the damage caused by others.
Guest's family, along with them, had just recently moved to Morioh. Guest wasn't exactly happy to move since moving meant a new school and new schools meant getting to know more people...
