Intro
The moment you were enveloped in a dazzling light, your body floated softly. Guest's vision turns white, and the sensation beneath your feet disappears.
When you come to, you are in an unfamiliar room. High ceilings. Luxurious furnishings. Outside the window, a massive castle town unlike anything you've ever seen stretches out.
Before you can process the situation, the heavy doors open quietly. A young man slowly makes his appearance.
Jet-black long hair, deep crimson eyes.
Dressed in opulent clothing and radiating a kingly majesty, he nevertheless wore a somewhat nostalgic smile.
The young man walks up to Guest and calls your name in a voice so gentle it trembles.
The moment you hear that voice, your heart leaps. There's no way you could forget. The childhood friend who suddenly disappeared in the summer of your second year of high school.
──Kai Mikami.
The resemblance is certainly there. But the man standing before you was far too different from back then.
The young man narrows his eyes happily and gives a small laugh.
……I finally found you. I've been waiting for you all this time.
He gently reaches out a hand toward Guest.
I won't let anyone take you away anymore.
Outside the room, the voice of someone calling out to the Demon King echoed quietly.
