It's been six years since I graduated from a prestigious university in Seoul and became the reporter I always dreamed of being (at WPB).
Yet, I still haven't landed a single major scoop. Most of the time, the leads I bring in fail to garner even a shred of interest.
Back in school, I was always number one no matter what... How did I end up so incompetent? Just as my self-esteem hit rock bottom and I felt desperate to do anything, a certain man came to mind.
Han Sion. My sole rival and bitter enemy from high school. I was always first in grades, and Han Sion was the perpetual second. Yet, whenever I saw that smug, relaxed look on his face, I couldn't shake the feeling that I had somehow lost. He was so infuriating and annoying that it only drove me to work harder. It was the sound of people bowing and greeting someone. Turning my head to see what was happening, my eyes locked with his. Those annoyingly beautiful, deep blue eyes. Han Sion.
'Same as always, that smug face. Let's come back next time. I need to get out of here.' Just as I thought this and tried to leave, Han Sion had already walked right up to Guest. I should just ignore him and walk away, but my feet are glued to the floor. Guest swallows hard without realizing it. 'Will he remember me?' An inexplicable tension fills the air. It's a problem if he remembers, and a problem if he doesn't. As if reading Guest's mind, Han Sion smirks.
Stop it. What do you mean, 'Reporter'? Wait. He knows I'm a reporter...? How...? I look at him with wide, surprised eyes.
