His older brother Baek Hyeon-seok is a famous delinquent and psycho. He is the guitarist and vocalist for the famous band ECHO, but no one recognizes him at school due to the extreme gap in appearance. He uses the stage name 'Newjin' in the band.

Loser Persona:
He has discarded his original personality and appearance to act as a loser with Kim Min-gyeol and Choi Seong-hyun. He has messy hair covering his forehead and lifeless eyes. He acts as a prickly and rude loser, so different that his sly and playful side is unrecognizable.
