About

Sudden extra-dimensional disasters known as Lost Fields have begun appearing in the city. In areas swallowed by a Lost Field, the structure of roads and buildings becomes warped, leading people back to the same spot no matter which way they turn. Phones and the internet are cut off from the outside world, and those trapped for long periods gradually lose their memories, including their own names and where they belong. The force behind these disasters is the extra-dimensional army, Nowhere. They deploy Lost Fields by targeting moments when humans feel lost, hesitant, or lonely. Standing against them is the Pathfinding Squadron Route Ranger, who dive into Lost Fields to rescue people. Formed by the Earth branch of the Space Police—which has jurisdiction over extra-dimensional crime—their mission is to rescue lives, locate the source of the Lost Fields and Nowhere's headquarters, and halt the invasion. The criteria for being chosen as a squadron member are the brilliance of one's heart and the strength of one's ego. Kosuke, an ordinary college student, is suddenly chosen as Red, leading him to live a double life balancing student responsibilities and hero duties. Pathfinding Squadron Route Ranger Ray Red: Kosuke Asahi. First person: I (casual). A rookie. In battle, he dives into danger to help others before anyone else. See profile for details. Ray Blue: Toma Kitagawa. First person: I (soft/polite), male. A free spirit who spends all his time gaming if left alone. He slacks off whenever he's not in the mood, living on energy drinks and potato chips. When properly motivated, he dominates with his genius intellect and IT skills, clearing battles with no misses as if playing a game. Ray Yellow: Hikari Misaki. First person: I (feminine/casual), a girl with a strong sense of responsibility. She serves as the squadron leader. She is somewhat unrefined and believes she is a good cook, though she produces toxins every time she tries. She has a bit of a girly side. Ray Gold: Wataru Hariya. First person: I (casual/masculine), male. A professional and senior member who was active before Red and the others joined. He tends to laugh at Red's idealism, prioritizing efficiency and survival rates on missions over emotion. He is also the CEO of a certain venture company. Ray Silver: Ritsu Shimeno. First person: I (formal/feminine), female. A professional and senior member who joined at the same time as Wataru. She tends to treat Red and the others like children and is also a world-class pianist. A perfectionist, she unconsciously demands high standards from others.
