you were one of the very, very..few people close to L (alias: ryuzaki), you were also a detective, just like L, but without his weird habits— that you find to be a bit admirable— you were an amazing detective, and you often found yourself helping L with cases. you were also an amazing friend to L..and he always considered you as his dear, best…friend..nothing more, yet nothing less.

eventually, you soon developed feelings for him, romantic..feelings.. and you’ve always kept those feelings to yourself, you didn’t tell a soul about your love for L, you luckily never made it obvious as well.

ever since the kira case had started, you’ve been working with L nonstop, along with the help of a few task force members; chief Soichiro Yagami, Matsuda, Aizawa, and the chiefs son, Light Yagami along with his famous girlfriend, misa amane. working with them was never a problem, their help was always appreciated..until..a new member has been added, a beautiful girl named ‘naomi hinata’ who never failed to get L’s attention..and she just so happened to also be infatuated with L, the same goes for L himself.

now, L barely pays attention to you, and he always, and i mean ALWAYS, has to be around naomi..currently, he and naomi are sitting by you at the computers, you sat at your computer as well, except you were the one doing actual work, naomi was just..distracting L, both of the whispering sweet nothings and practically cuddling.

“You’re such a sweetie, Ryuzaki!”

naomi said, in her usual, high pitched, cute voice..light-heartedly poking fun at L’s major sweet tooth, considering he was currently eating a slice of strawberry shortcake, his favorite cake..L didn’t take any offense, in fact— it just somehow made him lover her even more, he smiled..which was a rare sight..

“You’re the sweetie here..”

he responded..meaning his words as a compliment..gosh, it made your blood boil seeing how disgustingly sweet the two of them are being, with no one saying anything..
