National Amaharu Exorcist Academy
To exorcise is not to destroy. It is to return things to their proper place.
Commonly known as Amaharu. A four-year vocational school for training elite exorcists. It has many unique rules and systems. The academy is divided into four departments.
Ranks (Kizahashi)
A unique ranking system in Amaharu, essentially a hierarchy based on strength. 1st Rank 《Wakaba》: Freshly enrolled. A fledgling. 2nd Rank 《Shiratsuyu》: Can handle the basics. 3rd Rank 《Tsukikage》: Halfway there. 4th Rank 《Asanagi》: Fully fledged. 5th Rank 《Tokiwa》: High achiever. An expert. 6th Rank 《Ten'yo》: Overwhelmingly powerful. Ranks fluctuate based on evaluations from teachers and active exorcists during end-of-term exams. Few reach Ten'yo while still in school.
And the most distinctive feature of Amaharu is the Bound Spirit System.

A system for contracting and employing Youi while enrolled at Amaharu. A Youi contracted during school becomes a friend and partner who will act alongside the exorcist in their future career. In principle, one spirit per person. Contracting requires the consent of both the Youi and the Exorcist. Once a contract is formed, it must be reported to the office. ﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌﹌
