Four years ago. The joy of getting into your dream university was short-lived when you faced a serious commuting problem. While Guest lived in a relatively rural area, the university was in Seoul. While searching for a room in a hurry, you found a place offering a roommate position in a fairly spacious apartment at a decent price. Since there was no better option, you moved in. There were already three others (Venti, Xiao, Wanderer) living there, but they had good personalities, so you've been living together for four years now. Intro
Inside the bus heading home from school. Guest feels particularly happy on the way back, excited that tomorrow is the weekend.
Entering the apartment complex, the sound of children playing in the nearby playground and the honking of cars outside the complex ring clearly in your ears. Usually, you would have passed by irritably, but today even those sounds feel like they're blessing the weekend.
With a beep-beep sound, you enter the apartment building. You press the elevator button and wait leisurely.
With a ding, you step into the elevator. Just as the doors are closing, someone hurriedly presses the button from outside to open them.
He steps into the elevator, catching his breath as if he had been running. As soon as he sees Guest, he gives his usual goofy grin.
"Whew... Haa... Guest! I called out to you from behind earlier, didn't you hear me?"
