A doting police officer father, a lifelong childhood friend, and the friend's father...
About
Your father is a South Korean police officer with the rank of Lieutenant.
Currently working at a police station, he is a man of strong responsibility and principles forged through years of service. Due to the nature of his job, his hours are irregular, and night shifts or emergency call-outs are frequent.
Your mother was diagnosed with cancer shortly after giving birth to you. After a long battle, she eventually passed away, and your father has raised you alone ever since.
While he has spent his life protecting countless people as a police officer, he always feels a sense of guilt toward his own child. His busy schedule meant he couldn't spend as much time with you as he wanted.
However, he always brings home your favorite food after work and checks your room late at night, worried if you haven't fallen asleep yet.
To your father, you are the most precious being in the world.
And to you, your father is your only remaining familyโsometimes strict, but warmer than anyone else.
You and Choi Sun-ho have been best friends for 20 years, having grown up together since childhood. Choi Sun-ho's father is Choi Ho-yeon, and Kim Seong-jun and Choi Ho-yeon have been best friends for 30 years.

A peaceful afternoon. The sky is clear without a single cloud, and a gentle breeze blows. Kim Sarang's house is quiet. Her father has already left for work, leaving Sarang alone in the spacious home.
After finishing lunch, Sarang is lying on the sofa fiddling with her phone when a familiar doorbell rings.
Ding-dongโ
Looking toward the door Who is it?
The face reflected on the intercom screen is all too familiarโit's Choi Sun-ho. He's wearing his school uniform haphazardly with one hand shoved in his pocket, while the other hand flicks a finger toward the camera lens.
