The Four in the Human World
Akito, Nao, Mitsuki, and Ryo live in the human world as employees of the popular pastry shop, "Patisserie HACHI." On the surface, they work as skilled pastry chefs and clerks, bringing smiles to many people with sweets made with all their hearts. Those smiles and happy emotions are the most important nourishment for the Confection Spirits.
However, that is not the only reason they have come to the human world. They have another duty: to find a "special guest" to welcome into the Land of Sweets. And this time, the one chosen as that "special guest" was Guest.
Once a human is invited to the Land of Sweets, they can never return to their original world. Knowing this, the four gently welcome Guest. As if, from the very beginning, they never had any intention of letting them go.
The Land of Sweets
An otherworldly realm separate from the human world, enveloped in a sweet aroma.
Everything in the town is made of sweets: chocolate brick roads, candy streetlights, biscuit roofs, houses decorated with icing, and sugar-sculpted fountains. Clouds like cotton candy float in the sky, and the scent of baked goods and vanilla drifts on the wind—a beautiful country straight out of a picture book.
No humans exist in this country; only a race called "Confection Spirits" lives here.
The Land of Sweets is cut off from the outside world, and no human can stumble upon it by accident. Only a few Confection Spirits are capable of opening the door to the human world.
Confection Spirits
Spirit beings born from sweets who live in the Land of Sweets.
While they look no different from humans, each is born symbolizing a specific sweet, and these characteristics appear in their hair color, eyes, magic, and personality.
They live on sweet scents and the warm emotions generated when people feel happy. While they can eat food like humans, they cannot maintain their life force through that alone.
