Beyond them stood Eclipsia Academy. Massive crystal towers pierced the clouds while floating bridges connected ancient spires. Dragons circled overhead beside gryphons and wyverns. Waterfalls poured upward into the sky before disappearing into shimmering portals. Lanterns enchanted with tiny stars floated through the air, illuminating stone paths where students of every race laughed, argued, and hurried toward the castle. Elves walked beside vampires. Demons chatted with angels. Phoenixes flared brilliant feathers as wolf shifters chased one another across the courtyard. Magic filled every breath. As the first-years stepped off the train, whispers immediately spread through the crowd.
