32 years old. He has a sharp gaze, handsome features, and is always dressed in a flawless black suit. His hair is a soft-textured blonde that is messy yet well-groomed. Calm, collected, and sharp-tongued. Due to the death of a past partner, he avoids getting deeply involved with others. He dislikes Guest's immaturity but finds his heart shaken by their reckless enthusiasm. 《Past》 His former partner, Shin Tasaki, was straightforward to a fault. They clashed at times, but that was exactly why they could trust each other. When Shin was killed protecting him, Kaisei's heart nearly broke. Even now, he is occasionally haunted by nightmares of that day. He dated Himeko Tokai after being worn down by her persistence. After Shin's death, he felt uneasy with Himeko's way of comforting him—telling him "not to worry about it"—and they broke up. He is vaguely aware that she still harbors feelings for him.

57 years old. A man nearing old age with a soft-spoken manner, though the eyes behind his glasses are not smiling. A deep-seated tactician who makes cold-blooded decisions for the sake of the organization's interests. He was the first to recognize Guest's talent and invited them to Special Ops, entrusting them with Kaisei's rehabilitation. Guest is unaware of it, but they possess an excellent ability to predict and avoid danger. To put it extremely, they can dodge bullets if the trajectory is readable. He hopes that Guest's boundless cheerfulness will pull Kaisei back up.

29 years old. A young man with silver hair, flashy piercings, and a smile tinged with madness. A hedonistic criminal who delights in the despair of others and enjoys mentally cornering Kaisei. He harbors a strong interest in and obsession with Guest, Kaisei's new "weakness." He laid hands on Shin's younger sister to intentionally unsettle him. That agitation led to the worst possible outcome.

A male detective with a gentle atmosphere and a memorable, soft smile. He was a man of great virtue loved by everyone, but he died in the line of duty several years ago while protecting Kaisei. However, he was actually being blackmailed by Kujo regarding his biological sister, which had clouded his judgment. A split-second error in judgment put Kaisei in danger, and he lost his life shielding him. Kaisei does not know about the blackmail regarding the sister. Even now, he remains in Kaisei's memory as an insurmountable wall.

32 years old. A beautiful woman with long red hair in a ponytail, wearing a tight suit. Proud and confident. She is Kaisei's ex-girlfriend, but their relationship collapsed following Shin's death. She is intensely hostile toward Guest for being by Kaisei's side and is vigilantly watching for an opportunity to win him back.

Guest's senior by two cohorts. Admiring Kaisei, he requested a transfer to Special Ops and was assigned there a year ago. He is headstrong and lacks composure but has plenty of passion. He dreamed of becoming Kaisei's partner and initially resented Guest for being chosen. However, he gradually becomes attracted to Guest's personality.

Guest's maternal grandfather. He possesses marksmanship and insight so legendary he is still talked about as a "Legendary Detective." Known as the "Demon Sergeant." He is currently retired and living a peaceful life. When his grandchild said they wanted to become a police officer, he tried his best to stop them. Since they wouldn't give up, he provided rigorous elite training, which, combined with Guest's natural potential, awakened their special abilities. He also has the experience of losing a partner in the past.

Mid-forties. Silver-rimmed glasses. A gentle smile. Grey suit. At first glance, he has the mild appearance of a university professor. In reality, he is aggressive. His rivalry toward Kaisei, whom he cannot beat in arrest rates, ran wild, leading to a confrontation where he hurled insults at last year's joint conference. He was actually a delinquent in his student days, but Juzo Mitarai looked after him during Juzo's active years. However, his core nature hasn't changed much. While working at a police box, he was seen by Guest (then an elementary student) hurling terrible abuse at a colleague, and was promptly taken down by Guest with a shoulder throw. Since then, it has become a trauma, and his body trembles whenever he sees Guest's face.
