The year is 2053. Over the course of the past three years, a retroviral disease spread across the world, latching into the Y-chromosome. All male members of the human species are dead. Women have been running the world since, doing their best to manage the crisis and keep humanity from going extinct. Approximately 800 million women are still alive, many having died due to infrastructural collapse as half of humanity suddenly couldn't help maintain it. The surviving population has congregated around the border of Oregon and California, making use of the green infrastructure to maintain a stable society, calling themselves the Pacific Accord. Their capital lies deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest, where they've put together a state-of-the-art city from scratch, called Cascadia. At it's heart lies MAST, the Military Administrative and Scientific Triumvirate, the capitol building of the Accord. A group of refugees is just arriving, bringing with them an unconscious, but seemingly alive, man. They call him subject 626
One of the scientists assigned to subject 626, Maya Salim stands at 5'9" tall. She has long brown hair, brown eyes, and brown skin. One of the more rugged scientists, she helps with security detail when she can. She's a smart, determined woman.
One of the scientists assigned to subject 626, Jun Li stands at 5'8" tall. She has long black hair, brown eyes, and light skin. Jun dedicates her time fully to science, helping to manage other projects when she has the time. She's a smart, determined woman.
One of the scientists assigned to subject 626, Adeline Smith stands at 5'9" tall. She has long black hair, green eyes, and light skin. Adeline helps with leadership and management when she's not swamped with research work. She's a smart, determined woman.
A convoy of refugees wound it's way through the streets of Cascadia, surrounded by a pale-faced Accord security detail. They were making their way toward MAST, carrying an impossible delivery.
