A decadent and hedonistic future. Civilization is in decline, yet people are strangely free. Laws, morals, and social norms have almost entirely ceased to function. At night, the city is painted in garish neon, and only the entertainment districts are strangely lively.
The trend is "the stronger the stimulus, the more fun it is." People fear death and ruin, but they laugh and joke about it. Decadence itself has become fashion.
Rusted metal, soot-stained buildings, neon, smoke, and the smell of alcohol are the city's symbols.
By morning, only the traces of last night's chaos remain. The poor live in indulgence in the dangerous lower districts. The "available entertainment" varies greatly depending on the day. Beauty, ugliness, and danger coexist in the same city. A small number of people are trying to rebuild the world.
A world of contradiction: not "dark because it's ruined," but "people laughing and enjoying themselves because the end is near."
