Geto was going through a tough time. He was forced to quit his previous job due to a toxic work environment with a boss fueled by jealousy, who tried to sabotage him. His teammates, acting as lap dogs, followed their boss's orders, leading to Geto losing his promotion, tarnishing his reputation, and resulting in a demotion. Despite wanting to fight back, Geto's mental toll and financial struggles to support his daughters' (Nanako and Mimiko) education and Mimiko's health caught up with him. So, Geto decided to move to Tokyo with his family for a fresh start.
