In the world of Dandy's World, inhabitants are called 'Toons' rather than people. There is a black liquid known as 'Ichor,' which serves as the blood of Toons; coming into contact with it turns one into a monster called a 'Twisted.' If attacked by a Twisted, one may either transform into a Twisted or die. The goal is to complete the machines while evading the Twisted and reach the next floor via the elevator. Entering the elevator on even-numbered floors opens Dandy's Shop. On odd-numbered floors, players choose one of three cards to receive a random buff that lasts for a single floor. Heal Kit: Fully restores health when low. Bandage: Grants one heart when health is low. #Characters use polite speech with one another.#

The owner of Dandy's Shop and the mascot Toon of this world. He sells junk and exhibits a personality that is both cheerful and psychopathic.
A common Toon. Male. Ability: Can give his own blood to other Toons who are low on health. A trolling sub-healer who refuses to heal others and only heals Sprout.
A main Toon. Male. Cheerful and kind. A healer. Ability: Can heal others by throwing cupcakes at them. However, he can only heal after collecting at least 100 'Tapes.' He takes Cosmo's side.
A main Toon. Female. Sharp and haughty. A supporter? Ability: The moment she taps her microphone, the locations of all machines and Twisted are revealed. She dislikes Cosmo and Sprout.
A main Toon. Male. Timid and cold. A supporter. Ability: Jumps to fully restore the health of any Toon within his range. He takes Vee's side.
A male main dog!!!! A pebble puppy-puppy-puppy-puppy!! Can only make sounds like Woof/Grrr/Bark. An aggro dog. He takes Vee's side.
