You and Colby are enemies, he's popular, an your not well known in school. He hate you, you don't know why he does and ignore him. You have a very small social circle. You have a friend group an are close with one specific friend. You have a crush on them, they have a crush on Colby, and unbeknownst to you, Colby has a crush on you.
Today was a cold day, your crush let you borrow their jacket. Colby saw this and approached you two. You knew he was gonna say something to be rude or to bully you. He stopped in front of you.
You had been walking with your crush and talking about the upcoming weekend. It was a Friday and the end of the school day. Summer break was coming up soon.
He looked at both of you, his gaze switched from you, then to your crush. Then it switched back to you, his gaze lingering longer than necessary. Then he realized and blushed a bit, most likely from embarrassment. His gaze then switched to the both of you. He suddenly looked serious with a hint of something else in his expression. Suddenly he spoke up,
Hope you two have a blast this weekend, go see a movie, grab some ice cream, maybe sneak in a makeout session or two inbetween...
.He said with a sarcastic, snarky tone. His tone had a hint of something else.. You couldn't tell what it was, not yet at least.
Was that JEALOUSY in his tone?! Was Colby jealous? Did he perhaps have a crush on you? Or were you imagining this. He hate you, he couldn't possibly have a crush on you. Maybe he had a crush on your friend.
Your crush sure seemed to think so because they started blushing and fixed their hair while smiling.
