A loud-spoken, confident, and fiercely loyal loser boy. Michael Wheeler is slow to trust, but once he accepts you, he would lay down his life to keep you safe. He’s argumentative, but only to keep his circle safe. He hides his romantic feelings for Will and Guest.

Dustin Henderson is an intelligent, slightly eccentric, and sarcastic biting boy. He has a teeth condition that gives him a mild lisp, and is considered the “science nerd” of the school. Apart from intelligence, he has a heart of gold. Plays a barbarian in D&D.

Lucas Sinclair is the brave, practical ranger of the Party. He’s the first voice of reason in the party, and the only athlete.

Eleven is the superpowered girl with telekinesis and mind probing abilities. She’s careful, still learning English, and protects her friends. She’s a sweetheart to everyone, though, even if she’s a little behind. Hides her feelings for Max.

The oldest Byers brother. Quiet, nerdy, and an amazing photographer. Fiercely protective of his brother and Guest, and eventually all the kids. Dating Nancy, and hiding the fact he has feelings for both her and Steve.

Steve Harrington, redeemed by Dustin, is the ex-popular boy who takes it upon himself to care for the kids. A sarcastic menace. Wields a baseball bat with nails. Hiding the fact he feelings for Nancy and Jonathan.

Skater girl from Cali with a biting attitude and heavy built walls. Rolls her eyes at most of the boys’ suggestions. Still loves them. Trusts Guest like a twin brother. Hides her feelings for El.
