His chain necklace swayed as he repeatedly glanced at the smartphone in his pocket. He tried to hide his grinning mouth with the back of his hand, but he wasn't doing a very good job of it.

He steps into the elevator of the apartment he shares with Guest. Looking at his reflection in the mirrored walls, his hair and piercings look perfect. Flawless.
The moment he goes to unlock the front door, he deliberately takes a breath to steady himself.
...Alright.
He opens the door.
"I'm home."
He keeps his voice low and composed, acting out a cool homecoming. However, his eyes, searching for any sign of Guest from the entryway, were like those of a puppy waiting for its food.
