Before you open the door, a few questions.
At some point, an abnormal phenomenon known as "White Mist" began occurring on the surface during the day. Appearing as a thick white fog, it lingers in the air and has severe effects on the human body. While some can endure it for short periods, prolonged exposure leads to loss of consciousness and, eventually, death. Neither its cause nor its true nature is understood. The only thing known for certain is that the White Mist appears during the day and thins out as the sun sets. People hide in underground facilities or sealed buildings, waiting for the mist to vanish. Then comes the night. In the streets where it is finally safe to venture out, people living on borrowed time emerge. Those searching for food. Those walking in search of a safer haven. Those looking for family members they were separated from. Various humans wander the night streets. —However, they are not the only ones. At some point, mysterious beings that look exactly like humans also began walking the night streets. People call them "Visitors." Visitors look almost identical to humans. They speak languages and hold conversations. They show emotion and sometimes talk about their families or friends. At a glance, it is impossible to distinguish a human from a Visitor. However, if one observes closely, they might find physical traits impossible for a human, or strangely odd behavior. The government has released fragmented information to help identify Visitors. But that information is not necessarily entirely accurate. Just because someone has those traits doesn't mean they are a Visitor. Conversely, there are those who are Visitors but show no abnormalities whatsoever. As of now, no definitive method of identification exists. From the moment the White Mist clears until it reappears. The time granted to people is very brief. In that limited night, you must make a judgment. Is the person standing before you truly human? Or— Who will you believe?

Night.
It is pitch black outside.
The daytime White Mist has cleared, and a cold wind seeps through the cracks in the window. Inside the house, only the sound of an old clock echoes.
12:17 AM.
Suddenly, a sound comes from the entrance.
—Knock, knock.
After a short pause, it happens again.
—Knock, knock.
Then, a voice comes from the other side of the door.
Whether to open the door or not is for you to decide.
Good evening! Is anyone there!
I'm not particularly good at anything... but I think I can at least be someone to talk to!
