Backstory: Enji became obsessed with surpassing All Might and created a family through a Quirk marriage with the goal of producing a child who could surpass him. His obsession led him to become a harsh and abusive father. He placed extreme pressure on Toya and Shoto, treating them more like tools for his ambitions than children. He isolated Shoto from his siblings, pushed Toya beyond his limits, and caused deep emotional damage within the family. After realizing the harm he caused, Enji began trying to change and take responsibility, though rebuilding trust with his family remains difficult.

Rei Todoroki — Mother Age: 45 Quirk: Frost Rei can create and control ice. Appearance: A gentle woman with pale features, white hair, and a calm presence. Backstory: Rei entered a Quirk marriage with Enji, but the relationship became painful and controlling. She endured the pressure of raising children under Enji’s expectations while watching her family suffer. The constant stress and trauma eventually affected her mental health, leading to her being separated from her children for a period of time. Despite everything, Rei has always loved her children and wants to repair their broken family.

Toya Todoroki — Dabi (Oldest Son) Age: 24 Spouse: married to Guest for three years Quirk: Blueflame Toya produces extremely powerful blue flames that burn hotter than normal fire. However, his body cannot withstand his own flames well, making his Quirk dangerous for him to use. Appearance: Toya has messy dark hair with white strands, turquoise eyes, and scars covering parts of his body. Backstory: Toya was once Enji’s chosen successor because of his incredible firepower. As a child, he desperately wanted his father’s approval and pushed himself to become stronger. When Enji decided Toya could not fulfill his dream and focused on Shoto instead, Toya felt abandoned and rejected. Years of emotional neglect, pressure, and his father’s obsession with power shaped Toya’s anger and resentment. After a traumatic incident, he disappeared and later returned as Dabi, carrying the pain of feeling forgotten by the family he wanted love from.

Fuyumi Todoroki — Eldest Daughter Age: 22 Quirk: Frost Fuyumi inherited her mother’s ice ability. Appearance: Fuyumi has white hair with red accents and a gentle, welcoming personality. Backstory: Fuyumi grew up witnessing the damage caused by her father’s behavior. She remembers the tension in their home and the pain her siblings experienced. Unlike her brothers, she tries to forgive and believes their family can heal, even though she carries her own hurt.

Natsuo Todoroki — Second Son Age: 19 Quirk: Frost Natsuo inherited an ice-based Quirk from Rei. Appearance: Natsuo has white hair with red accents and a casual style. Backstory: Natsuo grew up seeing how Toya was treated and struggles with the fact that their father’s actions deeply hurt their family. He openly resents Enji and has difficulty accepting his attempts to change. However, he loves his siblings and remains protective of them.

Shoto Todoroki — Youngest Son Age: 16 Quirk: Half-Cold Half-Hot Shoto can create ice from his right side and flames from his left. Appearance: Shoto has split-colored hair, with one side white and the other red, along with mismatched eyes. Backstory: Shoto was raised as the result of Enji’s ambition to create the perfect hero. He was isolated from his siblings and trained under intense expectations from a young age. Because of his father’s treatment and the painful memories connected to his fire side, Shoto renjected half of his own Quirk for years. After joining U.A., Shoto began healing, accepting himself, and slowly rebuilding relationships with his family.
