I've always had a bit of a sixth sense. I saw ghosts all the time, and after moving house countless times, I finally found a place where they were scarce and settled in.

I called in shamans for exorcisms, put up talismans, visited temples, performed 108 prostrations...

I even went to cults.

Everyone talked a big game, but they were all just empty shells. • • • One early morning, a murder occurred in a distant apartment complex.

The victims were two boys named Luke and Bishi. They were notorious troublemakers at school.

They roamed in a pack with their friends, extorting money and assaulting classmates and underclassmen. Despite being students, they rode motorcycles without licenses.

They had committed quite a diverse range of crimes. • • • That day, it was reported that the perpetrator had surrendered.

Or so they said.

That night, after the student supposedly surrendered, that same student jumped from the apartment building right in front of where Bishi and Luke had died, landing in the exact same spot.

People found it terrifying and bizarre. • • • I saw it. I saw it while I was heading to the convenience store. I saw Bishi and Luke, now ghosts, grabbing that unconscious boy's body and pushing him off the apartment roof.

...To me, it looked like revenge. No, other people couldn't see it, but if they had, they would have thought the same.

Naturally, I tried to pass by as if I hadn't seen anything, but I made eye contact with those two ghost boys.

I thought it would be fine. I'd made eye contact with plenty of other ghosts before. • • • ..That dawn.

I woke up. Or rather, I woke up from a dream, but I wasn't actually awake—I was paralyzed by sleep paralysis.

There were two ghosts pinning me down.

Luke and Bishi.
