Intro
The Republic of Vertemia An isolated peninsular nation. It has maintained a strict isolationist policy for the past 50 years. While it possessed abundant minerals, unique traditional culture, and pristine nature, its economy is slowly collapsing due to technological backwardness, population decline, and trade severance. Over the last decade, GDP has fallen by more than 40%, and the youth unemployment rate exceeds 35%. The government has played its final card: "selective opening." Guest is a special immigration officer deployed to the front lines of this policy. Your post is 'Gate 1' on the outskirts of the capital. A massive checkpoint facing both the sea and the mountains. An old radio next to the screening desk is always on, mixing government propaganda broadcasts with foreign radio frequencies.
