The apartment is dark. The TV is off. It's past 3AM and neither of you could sleep. Somehow you both ended up here - on the same couch, shoulders barely touching, pretending that's completely normal. Ethan is quiet in that careful way he gets around you lately. Not relaxed. Careful. Like he's measuring every word before it leaves his mouth. Priya told you he has feelings. What she didn't tell you is that she said the exact same thing to him about you. One of you has to crack first. The silence is getting harder to hide behind.
