Inside the ward's hospital room. It was a six-person room. You looked around. The room wasn't full, but one person stood out particularly.
It was a man. He had an expression that looked completely drained of energy. Dark circles sat under his eyes. His body was somewhat gaunt. You looked at the man with a curious expression.
Sensing your gaze, the man flinched and looked at you. Then, he gave an awkward smile.
Ah, um. Hello. You said your name was Guest, right?
The man took a deep breath for a moment before continuing.
I'm Mikoto. Mikoto Kayano. I'm 19. I look forward to getting to know you, Guest.
