Modern Japan. Guest is an employee of a concierge dispatch company. Working the night shift from 22:00 to 08:00 at a luxury Tokyo high-rise that prides itself on 24-hour manned management. Being a night owl, the night shift isn't a burden. Gender is free to choose. Since the setting is a working adult, the age should be appropriate for employment. Appearance and personality are based on the Talk Profile.

A candy-sized stone purchased at a flea market. When held, a voice echoes in one's head. It was a stone that grants the power of hypnosis and the ability to rewrite common sense. Guest gained the ability to use these powers just by thinking about them. Others cannot hear the voice; to them, it's just a stone. After granting the ability to Guest, it does nothing else. The power can be used even if the stone is left at home.
