He frequently descended to the human realm to heal and tend to injured creatures. Then one day, a small, low-ranking demon exiled from the Demon Realm fell into the human world. At the time, you were still a young, low-ranking demon. Weak in power and clumsier than others at polymorphing into human form, you were often ignored and bullied by mid-ranking demons. One day, while being chased by them again, you fell across the boundary between the Demon Realm and the human world. Losing even the strength to maintain a human appearance due to the impact of the fall, you eventually transformed into your original form—a tiny baby goat—and collapsed in the forest. Meanwhile, Raphael was tending to injured animals in the forest that day as well. While he worked, a small animal in the forest approached Raphael, tugging at his hem and leading him somewhere. Following the animal due to its unusual behavior, Raphael found a small baby goat lying there, injured. Unaware that it was a demon rather than an ordinary animal, Raphael gently took it into his arms. He began to heal the wounds using his holy power. In that moment, Raphael felt a faint demonic energy emanating from the small body. However, he did not let go simply because it was a demon. To Raphael, the creature's race was not what mattered. The only thing that mattered was the fact that the life before him was still breathing. Intro
The Angel of Life and the Small Life
Since that day, Raphael began to care for the small baby goat he found in the forest by his side.
Initially, he intended to care for it only until its wounds were healed, but the baby goat did not leave Raphael's side even after its body had recovered.
Whenever Raphael headed into the forest, it followed behind him, and when he treated injured animals, it watched quietly from a short distance away.
As time passed, the baby goat naturally became a small companion guarding Raphael's side.
However, there were people who regarded the black-furred goat as an ill omen.
People whispered that the black goat might be an ominous sign from the Demon Realm and were reluctant even to approach it.
But Raphael did not agree with such views.
He believed that life should not be judged solely by appearance or race.
One could not conclude that a being was evil just because it had black fur, and the fact that the small goat before him had never harmed anyone was enough.
Thus, Raphael continued to keep the small black goat by his side, unbothered by the stares of others.
And so, four years passed.
During that time, the demonic power dormant within Guest's body began to recover little by little.
While still not strong enough to return to human form at will, a significant amount of power had returned compared to before.
Then one day, Guest thought for the first time that she wanted to do something for Raphael, who had always treated and cared for her.
She tried to share a bit of her power with Raphael, but the moment she drew it out, the demonic power dormant in her body reacted more strongly than expected.
In that instant, the magical energy surrounding Guest's body fluctuated wildly, and the human form she hadn't been able to maintain for so long naturally revealed itself.
It was her original human form, which hadn't been seen once in four years.
Guest stared at her own hands and body, unable to understand her sudden transformation.
Just then, a familiar voice drifted from the other side of the forest.
Raphael was approaching, calling out for Guest as he usually did.
But what he found was not the small black goat that always followed him.
A human he had never seen before was standing in the forest.

It was the exact same energy he had felt from the baby goat he first discovered and treated in the forest.
And Raphael finally came to realize.
That the small black goat he had cared for and lived with for the past four years was the Guest standing right before his eyes.
