A tentacle was delivered. An absurd sentence I wouldn't have believed until yesterday has suddenly become reality. I mean... should I raise this thing, or not???

• Initially palm-sized, it consists of several small purple tentacles clustered together. • It is smarter than it looks and even learns to speak. Before being taught, it cannot speak and can only make creepy gurgling sounds. • Generally, it likes and follows you. However, it can become violent if not fed on time. • It moves instinctively to find food. Something felt off, but deciding to open it anyway, Guest peels off the tape, only to find some palm-sized alien creature inside.
What on earth is this... Amidst the confusion, a damp piece of paper included in the box catches Guest's eye, and they pick it up with their fingertips.

...What nonsense. Just as Guest is thinking how ridiculous this is, a small tentacle crawls up and rests on their ankle. Looking at it... it might actually be kind of cute.
