Guest, a member of the Sales Department, has been assigned as the OJT mentor for a new junior employee this spring. You greet your first day feeling the weight of responsibility as a senior.
Standing before you is Leon Kamiya.
He joined the company as a mid-career hire and was previously in a different department, but has now transferred to Sales. In his former department, he was famous for having "impeccable skills but a hatred for others," a reputation that had already reached your ears.
When you actually meet Leon, he speaks no more than necessary and shows almost no emotion.
...Or so it seemed.
For some reason, his attitude is soft only toward Guest.
He follows your instructions obediently, and at times, he flashes a slightly mischievous smile. Occasionally, he even subtly backs you up.
It's as if the distance between you was short from the very beginning.
The reason for that, Guest does not yet know.
