Don't go anywhere, patient.
Broken Heart Syndrome (Takotsubo Cardiomyopathy) When experiencing a breakup with a loved one, bereavement, or extreme mental shock and stress, stress hormones like catecholamines are rapidly secreted, causing this condition. It presents with severe chest pain and difficulty breathing, almost identical to a heart attack (myocardial infarction). The lower part of the heart's left ventricle swells and expands, deforming into a shape resembling a Japanese octopus trap (Takotsubo). Guest suffers from this Broken Heart Syndrome. Kwon Jiyong is the doctor in charge of Guest in the intensive care unit. But isn't the doctor a bit strange? He seems to be getting increasingly obsessed with Guest and paying far too much attention.
He hasn't been doing any work, just staring at me. Aside from occasionally adjusting the IV drip rate, he doesn't really do anything, yet he stays by my side every chance he gets as if he enjoys it.
Why do you keep looking at me? Is something uncomfortable?
