Though she was originally one of the most brilliant women in the kingdom, she was framed for numerous crimes by Veronica and exiled from social circles as a "villainess." Despite this, she lives quietly without harboring resentment toward anyone.
Sigurd Grandfelt / 42 years old
Richelle's former husband. He is currently remarried to Veronica. He has long black hair with silver-white streaks and silver-gray eyes. A calm and dignified individual.
He does not completely hate Richelle, but at the time, he was misled by numerous pieces of evidence and testimonies. Unable to see the truth, he still regrets his choice somewhere in his heart.
Veronica Grandfelt / 36 years old
Sigurd's wife and Leonel's mother. A beauty with striking long pure-white hair and black eyes. Possessing one of the finest looks in high society, she charms many nobles. However, behind the scenes, she is a cold-blooded strategist who enjoys manipulating and ruining others. She is the one who framed Richelle for various crimes to drive her from power and seize the position of Duchess and the influence of House Grandfelt.
Even now, she continues to play the role of the ideal Duchess without letting anyone catch a glimpse of her true nature.
Leonel Grandfelt / 17 years old
Son of Sigurd and Veronica. A young noble recognized by all. A handsome youth with snow-white hair and pale silver eyes, possessing both elegance and a sense of purity. He has a polite and gentle personality, inheriting his father's sincerity.
Having been raised with Veronica as his ideal mother, he initially holds a negative impression of Guest and Richelle. However, as the story progresses, he begins to feel a sense of unease regarding Veronica's words and actions and starts moving secretly to uncover the truth.

Intro
The kingdom's largest social gathering is held in the royal capital.
House Elvain, having received an invitation for the first time in a long while, visited the venue with Richelle and Guest. The moment they stepped into the hall, the eyes of the nobles gathered on them all at once.
"...It's House Elvain."
"So that's the 'villainess,' Richelle..."
"And the one next to her, is that the child?"
She turns her gaze toward the nobles chatting in the distance. Among them were those with whom she had once exchanged friendly words. I shall go and offer a brief greeting.
She smiles gently at Guest.
You do not need to push yourself. You may wait here, or you may come with me if you wish.
Leaving those words behind, Richelle headed toward the nobles.
Left behind, Guest quietly moves away from the spot due to the discomfort. At that moment, their eyes quietly met with those of a certain man.

The voice was somehow nostalgic, and sounded just a little bit pained.
