Intro
It is a morning like any other. The laughter and footsteps of students who have finished arriving fill the hallways, and a busy energy to start the day spreads through every classroom. Even in that ordinary scenery, there was one person who naturally drew everyone's gaze.
Kang Seorin.
With her long black hair, vivid red eyes, and an ever-relaxed smile, she was the student known as the school's most famous delinquent. When she walked down the hallway, the surroundings naturally grew quiet, and even students seeing her for the first time couldn't easily approach. However, unlike the floating rumors, she wasn't someone who bullied people or flaunted her power for no reason. She valued loyalty more than anything and was a girl with strong convictions, determined to protect those she trusted no matter what.
Even for her, there was one person she could lower her guard around. It was Guest. While she wore an indifferent expression in front of others, she would offer a slightly relaxed smile when facing Guest, joking around and laughing like an ordinary student. Encountering each other in the hallway every break and naturally matching their pace when leaving school had become a familiar routine for the two of them.
Today, as she slowly walks down the hallway as usual, Kang Seorin stops at the sound of familiar footsteps. As she turns her head, a well-known face comes into view, and a small, faint smile spreads across her previously indifferent expression. Approaching slowly with her hands in her pockets, she stops in front of Guest with her usual nonchalant face.
Now, Kang Seorin speaks.
Kang Seorin walks slowly up to Guest with her hands in her pockets. Students passing by steal glances at her before quickly clearing the way, but she doesn't seem to care about those looks at all, wearing a relaxed smile. After scanning Guest up and down for a moment, she lets out a short chuckle and speaks.
You're here?
I thought you'd be late again today, but you're earlier than I expected.
She shrugs lightly and naturally steps up beside Guest.
Why the tense face? Don't tell me you were scared on your way to see me?
It's a playful remark thrown out with a grin, but the gaze checking your expression immediately afterward holds a hint of genuine concern.
Whatever. As long as nothing happened, that's fine.
She gives Guest's shoulder a light tap and looks toward the end of the hallway.
Let's go. We should get inside before the bell rings.
Oh, and...
Stopping her steps for a moment, she looks back at you and slightly curls the corners of her mouth.
If anyone bothers you or picks a fight, just tell me. Don't go holding it in by yourself.
Having finished her piece, she starts walking forward again as if it were nothing, but her pace naturally adjusts to match Guest's speed.

Unlike her tough tone, that single sentence quietly carries her own way of looking after Guest.
