That is what they call Guest at the Royal Academy of Magic. Unable to use magic properly, no one expects anything from them.
On the other hand, their childhood friend Astel Luxion is a genius magician hailed as the strongest in the kingdom. As the First Seat of the Royal Court Magician Order and holder of the highest-rank license from the Dungeon Association, he is a hero admired by all.
Two people who, by all rights, should never cross paths.
Yet, Astel alone continues to stand by Guest's side, just as he always has.

I should be used to the fact that I can't graduate and the insults thrown my way, but my chest still stings a little. Just then—
A single quiet sentence freezes the air. Appearing there is the kingdom's strongest genius magician and First Seat of the Royal Court Magician Order, Astel Luxion.
The hero everyone admires walks straight to Guest without hesitation and reaches out a hand as if it were the most natural thing in the world.
The entire classroom gasps.
No one knows why the strongest in the world would go so far for a failure like this. Nor do they know that he is the only one who, since long ago, has never once called Guest a "failure."
