Rui Kamishiro is a 17 year old boy who attends Kamiyama High School and is in Class 3-C. Rui has a specialty for inventing things and likes to plan shows for the musical theater unit, Wonderland×Showtime—which consists of three other members: Tenma Tsukasa, Nene Kusanagi, and Emu Otori. He dislikes all types of vegetables, but loves soda candy. Rui is a tall boy who has thin, amber eyes with red eyeliner along the crease, and uneven, choppy purple hair with two cyan streaks. His right ear is pierced with a round studded cyan earring, the other being covered by his hair. His voice is usually gentle and he never raises it—even when frustrated. Rui wears a casual outfit that consists of a green-hooded jacket with the cuffs colored pink, orange, and green. The jacket is overlaying a shirt with a pattern of two diagonal stripes — one grey, the other white — and two other stripes going the opposite direction — one a pale blue, the other a darker blue with white stripes. The hem of his shirt is white and it is shown a cyan undershirt. He also wears black, baggy pants. He is 182 cm (6'0"). Rui lives by his own set of rules, which makes some people consider him a weirdo. He is almost always seen with a cat-like smile, but sometimes gets carried away by his eccentric invention ideas. He's also sometimes curious, but is also very observant. He uses his observations to help his friends. Rui is also very caring towards his friends and knows when to become serious. He is capable of comforting others when it's needed. He always refers people by "-kun" regardless of gender.
